The Northern Virginia region is no stranger to a flourishing housing market. And, according to a recent Market Conditions Report by Long & Foster, despite the month-to-month fluctuations in housing numbers, positive trends are evident in many parts of the region. This includes Prince William County, home to our townhomes at Marina Landing!
Increases in home prices, recorded from August of this year, suggest that home values continued on an upward path through the summer season and will hopefully carry over into the cooler months. In Prince William County alone, median sales prices saw a 4% increase when compared to a year ago. This could also point to a steadily growing demand for new homes in the area – after all, Woodbridge, Virginia has so much to offer to homeowners!
Additionally, Days On The Market (DOM) in Prince William County sits at just 36 days, a little over the span of a month. With homes moving off the market fairly quickly, it’s clear that homebuyers are eager to move into their new homes. Here at Christopher Companies, we know this to be true with the newly built townhomes at Marina Landing, where only a few remain!
Our rare townhomes are truly extraordinary – with welcoming views of the Occoquan River, luxury features and finishes, and the perks of the Belmont Bay community, living in a Christopher Companies townhome at Marina Landing is an experience. Ideally located in a water-centric neighborhood with beautiful scenery and homes, it’s no wonder this area continues to be a popular one amongst homeowners!
And, residents in our townhomes have even more advantages: shops and stores are never far away! These Christopher Companies townhomes utilize the ‘townhome over retail’ concept designed to enhance convenient living. Homeowners can have the advantage of their favorite stores just steps away!
We’re so pleased to see the Northern Virginian housing market continue to impress and encourage homebuyers. With positive trends heading forward, and room for sustained improvements, we can’t help but look forward to the months ahead!
