According to an article by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), a recent poll revealed that Americans continue to grow in favor of buying real estate, noting its long-term investment potential.

When surveying over 1,000 adults, 31% of respondents considered “real estate to be the best long-term investment.” Conducted by Gallup, this is the second consecutive year this survey has yielded these results.

NAR also notes that “while confidence in real estate declined during the global banking crisis and recession, real estate is now ranked as the top investment choice or tied for the top choice with all major gender, age and income groups.”
