Looking forward to the fall season? We certainly are! Here at Christopher Companies, we have a lot to be excited about – especially with our new waterview townhomes available at Wharton’s Bluff in Delaware. And recently, Kiplinger published an article highlighting the ten most tax-friendly states in the country. Topping the charts in the number one spot? Delaware, of course!
Kiplinger points to a couple of remarkable tax qualities for the state’s placement on the list: No sales tax, low state income tax, and arguably the most impressive, some of the lowest property tax rates in the entire country. Better yet, this isn’t the first time Kiplinger featured Delaware in one of its “Top 10” lists, either. Delaware was also recognized for being one of the most tax-friendly states for retirees specifically, citing many of the same reasons as the aforementioned article, with the addition of the various tax benefits for residents 60 and older.
This latest acknowledgment for the state of Delaware is just one more reason why our residents love our new townhome models at Wharton’s Bluff in Millsboro. Not only are these rare townhomes designed and built with the utmost quality, but they can now boast a quality that isn’t easily attained: an ideal location. Beyond geographical placement (which we must admit is also ideal!), residents in Delaware can enjoy the many tax advantages that other states simply can’t offer.
Not to mention, the design of these townhomes alone is truly one-of-a-kind. With spacious interiors, expansive water and marsh-views of the Indian River, and basements that can be finished to the homeowner’s vision, you won’t find dwellings like these anywhere else. Pair the townhomes at Wharton’s Bluff with Delaware’s amazing advantages, and it’s no surprise that living here is sought-after by so many.
We can’t hide our excitement for Delaware’s most recent achievement – we’re so happy to offer our waterview townhomes in such an incredible state!
