Each year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) honors organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency. This year, Christopher Companies was awarded as a contributing Energy Star Market Leader of 2017, an accomplishment that is equivalent to:
- Reducing CO2 emissions by 96 metric tons
- Growing 2,451 tree seedlings for 10 years
- Avoiding the consumption of 224 barrels of oil Removing 20 passenger vehicles from the road
