The Christopher Companies is honored to have been able to take home the 2021 NVBIA GALA award for best design and architecture for our “Monroe” home style.  Hosted annually, the GALA (Great American Living Awards) program is the most prestigious residential design, sales, and marketing competition in the metropolitan Washington market. Builders, developers, architects, sales, marketing, merchandising, and advertising professionals have judged these awards for more than 50 years and to win a GALA is considered the “Best of the Best.”

The Design and Architecture categories are broken down by home style, lot size and price. The Monroe home that was submitted for consideration featured a now sold-and-settled home at our Meadows at Rose Hill community in Alexandria, VA. The Monroe is a craftsman-style home designed with the 2020 work-from-home environment in mind. This home offers a workspace option with a newly redesigned foyer. As the consumer is spending more time at home, we also redesigned the kitchen to provide a double island. This specific home includes 4 bedrooms and a double-sided central fireplace, included standard. A 5-foot side extension is included as an option in this home, as well as a finished lower level.

The Monroe home provides an open family room and kitchen arrangement, generously sized secondary bedrooms on the second level and  highly sought-after interior features, such as a double-sided centrally-located fireplace and double island in the kitchen.

The Christopher Companies’ chose to enter the Monroe as it reflects all the major principals that Christopher Companies abides by; including: a dedication to quality architecture, craftmanship and an impeccable attention to not only the home details, but the desires of today’s modern homebuyer in this market.

This home will be offered at our upcoming community, Hollybrook Farm.

Two of Christopher Companies’ top sales professionals were also named new members of the ‘Million Dollar Club’!
